international women's day

This year’s International Women’s’ Day campaign is a call to action for better gender balance. The race is on for gender-balanced governments and gender-balanced boardrooms, gender balance in media coverage, gender balance in the professional arena, gender balance in business and in the sharing of wealth, gender balance in the class room, gender balance in science and research, and in all human activities and endeavours.

Because gender balance is essential for economies and communities to thrive.

Many women have had challenges in the past, and even now, to gain access to quality education due to traditional social structures and strict gender roles, where the husband provides and the woman remains at home, taking care of the family and running the household. This situation has, for a long time, deprived our world of great contributions by women to science, arts and culture.

Studying online has opened new opportunities to women across the globe, by offering new ways to access knowledge, even in rural communities with a flexible study schedule, paving the way to highly-educated future generations that will become key-players in solving today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.

UNICAF has, since the beginning, offered scholarship to gifted students, regardless of gender, and we are proud to have some extraordinary women and men studying through UNICAF for their internationally recognised degree and have others welcomed into our alumni society.

To commemorate women across the world, UNICAF supports the #BalanceforBetter campaign with a special award of 75% guaranteed scholarships to all eligible candidates applying for a Master in Business Administration MBA with Unicaf University, between March 8th and March 15th, 2019.

Through UNICAF, students are able to study towards this highly versatile degree programme, from anywhere, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. With the new Live Chat Service, students can complete their studies even faster and receive the help you need, when needed.

Successful applicants must hold a Bachelor degree or other equal qualification, and have a good command of the English language.

Let’s build a gender-balanced world!
