Successful candidate will be responsible for all general accounting, audit, administrative and other related duties within the accounts departments.

Job Description

JOB LOCATION:     NYAMIRA COUNTY


Duties & Responsibilities 

  1. Physical verification of contract work in all locations.
  2. Checks the accuracy of input data documents.
  3. Checks all weighbridge weighments documents of all deliveries.
  4. Reconciliation of field and factory weights returns.
  5. Verification and processing of invoices.
  6. Verification and processing of claim expenses.
  7. Taking of quarterly and annual stocks in the stores.
  8. Carrying out of weekly stock take of manufactured black tea, packing materials, fuel and Tea sales.
  9. Carrying out impromptu stock checks.
  10.  Conducting labour deployment audits as well as checking of overtime payments, acting allowances, terminal dues, leave payments.
  11. Reconciles mid and end month payments returns.
  12. Physical verification of goods received
  13. Preparation and reconciliation of farmers’ payments. 

 

Qualifications & Competencies 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting / Finance Option) or any related field
  2. CPA (III)
  3. At least 3 years’ relevant experience
  4. Computer literate and practical experience in accounting packages, preferably ERP Harvest IT
  5. Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  6. Team Player
