Job Description

Unity Homes Limited is a Nairobi based development company, with office in Nairobi and Eldoret. We aim to create happy, beautiful communities, providing professionals and their families with affordable, high quality homes. An exciting opportunity in our Eldoret office with it dynamic business awaits the right candidate. This is a fast paced but friendly environment that will suit an organized person with a great eye for detail and plenty of team spirit.

 

Your responsibilities will include;

·         Generation and dispatch of invoices

·         Payment allocation, follow up and collection

·         Resolving collections by examination client payment plans, history, credit line e.t.c

·         Recording incoming cash, direct debit and credit card transactions

·         Monitor customer accounts receivables customer files and records

·         Updating receivables by totaling unpaid invoices

·         Maintaining accounts receivable customer files and records

·         Investigate and resolve customer queries

·         Liaising with lawyers to process clients’ documents

·         Communicating with customers via phone, mail or in person

·         Work closely with the sales marketing personnel

·         Data entry

·         Data checking

·         Perform account reconciliations

·         Improvement of collection systems and procedures

·         Answering internal queries

 

You will need: 

·         Bachelor degree of commerce in Finance or Accounting options

·         At least completed CPA part two

·         Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures and accounting principals

·         High-level of proficiency in relevant accounting and computer software

·         Exemplary communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·         The ability to integrate and work effectively within our dynamic office team

·         Knowledge of accounts receivable, office administration and procedures will be an added advantage

·         Minimum two years experience in large professional organization processing high-volume, end-to-end accounts

·         Strong understanding of relevant legislation
