Job Summary

Our client, a dynamic Chain of 2nd Hand Clothing Retail Shop in Nairobi, is looking to fill the position of an Area Retail Shop Manager.

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
  • Experience Level: Senior level
  • Experience Length: 5 years

Job Description

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, well presentable and relevant management experience. He/she MUST have previous experience working in a clothing or footwear retail shop.

 

Key Responsibilities: -

  1. Full responsibility for all the shops within the region.
  2. Aid in selection, documentation, organize for deliveries if necessary and after sale service.
  3. Manage a team of shop managers & responsible for ensuring deliverables.
  4. Report to the Regional Retail Manager on the day to day activities of the branch.
  5. Review all shops sales performance and strategize on how to make proper and effective improvements.
  6. Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
  7. Participate in the ordering process both new and reordering process.
  8. Undertake any such responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the management.

 

Qualification: -

  • Must have a diploma in Business.
  • Must have at least 2 years of working experience in a management Position.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years retail experience.
  • Must have working experience in clothing or shoe business.
  • Must be fluent in English and Kiswahili.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • High level of self-motivation, precision and commitment to results.
  • Honest, hard worker, helpful and result orientated personality.

 

Monthly gross salary: Monthly gross Ks. 80,000 – 100, 000 /= (Approx. 800 – 1,000 USD) depending on individual skills & experience

Position Level: (Lower Mid - Level)

Location: (Thika Road, Kenya)
