Minimum 3-4 years experience in a similar position in the FMCG Company.
Area Sales Manager will be incharge of all sales and marketing activities in the assigned area within Nairobi.
Other duties to be performed includes:-
- Design and implement the Area sales Strategy in line with the overall business strategy.
- Coordinate Sales, Marketing and distribution activities within the area.
- Motivates & inspires subordinates to achieve results.
- Supports the front line staff in building strong relationships with each customer by:
- Identifying business growth opportunities – (master of execution and brings a different perspective to identify opportunities sales staff may have missed)
- Solving problems and removing obstacles for respective region
- Hands-on coach in the trade building capability and helping identify opportunities.
- Builds a vibrant, energized team through dynamic ‘rallying’ leadership style (daily team meetings )
- Master coach to drive brilliant execution against standards.
- Develops great relationships
- Being an ambassador of our company and brands
- Manages and measures sales targets daily and takes corrective action
- Identifies competitor activities and develops and implements response tactics
- Promotions – ensures promotions are implemented effectively
- Develops & implements Internal Controls e.g. in terms of staff attendance, budgets, use of allocated resources etc.
Expected Salary:- Kshs. 100,000 - 150,000 plus other Company benefits
