Job Description

Reporting to: Production Manager

Department/Division: Production


RESPONSIBILITY

  • Maintenance staff management/organization
  • Documentation regarding all machine activities
  • Timely reporting and follow up
  • Ensure that the machines are well maintained and in proper working condition
  • Training operators on machine basics
  • Ensure minimum time wastage during change overs
  • Ensure things are done right first time and always (no reworks) and daily targets are achieved
  • Ensuring that machine service and maintenance schedules are followed as per the SOP
  • Liasing with production manager to plan for the service schedules
  • Ensuring availability of spare parts
  • Prepare monthly maintenance reports
  • Play a key role in training and supervising operators and assistant technicians
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

  1. Machine efficiency
  2. Reduced machine down time
  3. Zero complaint on quality of products
  4. On time and accurate reporting 


REQUIREMENTS

Education Requirements: 

  • Diploma food science

Professional Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS word
