Job Description

 Assistant Parts Manager

Our client, a dealer in motorbike spare parts is looking for an Assistant Parts Manager to oversee all activities in their warehouse, stores and various outlets.

Core competencies

·         Good Knowledge of stock movement.

·         Auditing skills i.e. cash flow audit, stock and financial auditing

 

Other responsibilities include:

·  Manage stock levels in relation to sales targets and returns on investment

·  Manage parts warranty issues in liaison with the manager in charge of service.

·  Supervising the parts associates; Parts Sales officer, Parts Inventory officer, Parts Warehouse officer

·  Creating Parts Section objectives in alignment with company policies

·  Oversee the parts stock take and related inventories

·  Ensuring that the company stock management policies and procedures are followed

·  Ensure availability of sufficient stock levels of parts

·  Maintaining an effective parts section to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction

·  Timely preparation of parts section budget as well as ensure timely stock taking of parts

·  Achieving parts sales targets

·  Be able to coordinate, analyze and report on finances, operations and stock dispatch

·  Oversee the operations of the retail outlets

·  Participate in quality management reviews with key stakeholders.

·  Coordinate with the sourcing and procurement team to ensure the right products are procured at the right time, quantity and price.

·   Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure the products are packaged and stored according to specification.

 

Qualifications for the Parts Assistant Manager Job:

Minimum Qualification

·         Age: 27 years of age and above

·         CPA qualifications or Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting

·         An accounting background is ideal for this position.

·         At least 2 years work experience with knowledge in parts sales, stock management and inventory control

·         Must be proficient in  ICT

·         Must be good with Excel sheet

·         Suitable candidate should be of unquestionable integrity

·         They should also be dynamic and a team player.

·         The suitable candidate should have a good understanding of parts sales(motorbikes)

Other desirable qualifications

·         A Diploma in  sales and marketing or in inventory/Stock management or in purchasing and supplies or any other business related course
