We are an ICT system provider in the sector of micro banking and particularly focusing on micro lending and SACCO institutions serving the lower end of the pyramid. We offer solutions ranging from Core Banking Solutions, Bulk SMS, Short Code and USSD to our existing clients. We intend to expand our service offering to more clients in other towns and outside the country.
We are seeking to hire a self-driven and highly motivated Business Development Executive with an enthusiastic, career-minded, a strong work ethic individual with a commitment to teamwork. Successful candidate must have burning desire to work with banking IT systems. The candidate will be selling B2B.
Reporting to: Business Development Manager
- Recruiting new clients to start using our services both as end user and reseller positions.
- Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in our product offering
- Developing agreements and quality proposals to prospective clients
- Creating and managing social media platforms as a channel to market to prospective clients
- Creating informative presentations and pitching company’s services to business clients
- Making appointments and meeting with existing and potential clients
- Researching and identifying new market opportunities
- Maintaining profitable relationships with existing clients
- Developing customized targeted marketing and sales strategies
- Increasing the company’s client base
- Bachelor’s Degree in any business, banking, accounting or IT field.
- Must have a basic understanding of micro banking environment, mobile money and MFI, SACCO models
- Having sold software and IT products and services is an added advantage
- Minimum one year working experience in business development and marketing B2B sector
- Must be aware of the market trends, competitors in the market and future threats
- Experience with business lead generation and prospect management
- Previous work experience in a microfinance / banking / SACCO desirable but not compulsory
- Team player, good interpersonal skills with pleasant personality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills
- Conversant with doing demo’s
- Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Must be between 25 years and 35 years of age
