Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, self-driven, visionary leader and motivated entrepreneur to drive the operations of the Company and implement innovative strategies to diversify the company’s investment portfolio and create a firm foundation for commercial viability and sustainability.

Job Description

The person needs to understand the fundamental drivers of business, customers, partners and competitors in Beverage industry. (Coffee and Tea)


  • Must have a Degree in Marketing/ Business administration/ Business Management or related field.
  • Must have more than 3 years’ experience in a Senior Sales position.
  • Must have route to market knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (English / Swahili / Any additional language is an added advantage)
  • Assertive, proactive and detail oriented.
  • Computer literate.
  • Knowledge of the Kenyan beverage market will be an added advantage.


  • Proven record in the area of  beverage business development and entrepreneurship
  • Clear understanding of Kenyan health and safety legislation.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a first paced environment
  • Research and strategy development.
  • Sales and marketing experience or a related field.
  • Project/ program management experience.
  • Relationship management.
  • Proposal and report writing.
  • Sound knowledge of Beverage business operations and environment.
  • Innovative thinker (think without the box.)
  • Possess excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Sound organization skills.
  • Team player and ability to work in challenging environment.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Windows software applications.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position

  1. Day to day management of operations and providing general oversight of all company activities.
  2. Support the development and spearhead the implementation of the company’s strategy and board resolutions.
  3. Responsible for development revision and execution of company policies and procedures.
  4. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  5. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique propositions and differentiators.
  6. Submit weekly and monthly progress reports.
  7. Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance.
  8. Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities
  9. In liaison with the Board of Directors, identify investment opportunities in line with the company’s strategic plan while ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in execution and closure of projects. 
  10. Creating sales strategies that improve the company’s position in the market 
  11. Conduct market intelligence research in line with the dynamic business environment and provide recommendations.
  12. Prepare annual business plans, operating budgets and management reports to facilitate decision making by the Board of Directors. 
  13. Overseeing the fiscal activities of the company including budgeting and financial management.
  14. Represent and ensure brand visibility of the company to stakeholders, customers and business community. 
  15. Build long term relationships needed to increase company revenues and maximize on profits.
  16. Plan and oversee new market initiatives and improve sales.
  17. Delivering profitable sales
  18. Ensuring legal compliance with the applicable Laws and regulations.
  19. Undertake any other duties as and may be assigned by the Board of Directors from time to time
  20. Developing product information for customers.
  21. Have close relationships with other departments
  22. Managing work schedules
  23. Identify new prospects to grow the customer base through targeted calls to meet sales targets
  24. Nurture and build the Company’s wide commercial opportunities.
