Vacancy: Business Development Manager – Digital Platforms and Telecoms
We are seeking a business development Manager (BDM) to drive the go-to-market for our digital solutions. If you have the right blend of passion, enthusiasm, customer advocacy, curiosity and creativity, you might be a great fit for this role.
You will be responsible for engaging senior management team in the customer organization. You must be effective at working with customers to describe the business opportunity. You should be comfortable working with cross-functional collaboration that includes business development teams, solutions architecture, marketing, partners, professional services, compliance, product, sales enablement, sales operations, and other related teams.
Your Ideal capabilities
You should possess a unique combination of business development, technical sales, product management and product marketing skills. You should have the business acumen with technical understanding and ability to think strategically about customer business problems and desired outcomes, software business models, the DevOps, Telecom ecosystem and the product development lifecycle.
A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must. An understanding of key concepts and technologies, and ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus is highly desirable.
Experience & Skill
Business development background along with communication skills to engage/influence extremely senior business stakeholders in order to ultimately improve customer experience and value. We need a true leader who is passionate and humble enough to keep learning. You need to be ambitious and have a proven track record of using application development to add business value.
You should have experience working with enterprise customers on digital / Telecom / DevOps projects. This involves a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong technical understanding to provide confidence to customers and answer their questions, ability to engage and help customers crystallize business benefits of their migrations, demonstrating a good understanding of digital solutions, and a passion for helping customers transform to digital solutions. You should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation with significant successes.
We also desire a business background that enables you to drive an engagement and interact at the executive level, as well as a background to work with both our engineering teams and customers building solutions with our tools.
