Reporting into: Marketing Coordinator

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizational:

  • Communicate with colleagues and share insights on Slack
  • Utilize Trello to update task status
  • Weekly coordination and training with direct report
  • Coordinate with SEO team to plan media outreach articles and press releases
  • Coordinate with Campaign Managers to align on integrated offline/online campaigns 

Reporting:

  • Update Social Master and Media Outreach Master as required
  • Analyze KPIs performance of campaigns and optimize over time
  • Report to management on channel KPIs in a fortnightly email
  • Monthly completion of social & referral marketing targets 

Functional:

  • Write, have approved on time and record results for channel briefs
  • Completion of social media posting calendar
  • Design and post content on social media channels & analyze the results to optimize performance
  • Take on customer service responsibilities for Twitter and Facebook Ad comments (all channels if the country does not have a customer service team)
  • React to and manage mentions
  • Build relationships with media contacts at events, by phone, email (using Buzzstream) and Twitter to ensure articles and press releases are published
  • Curate social media influencer relationships
  • Attend relevant events and make introductions of partnership connections to Marketing Operations Manager / Campaign Manager
  • Write articles in line with an editorial calendar and the content playbook to be published on the blog
  • Write sponsored articles to be published on other websites.
  • QA all blog & social media posts for quality (spelling, imagery, and other components)
  • Buddy review of articles and social content.
  • Research market relevant topics & contribute ideas to an editorial calendar
  • Brief graphics for content pieces with clearly specify requirements to design team
  • Assist with content and social media ideation for campaigns
  • Monitor and evaluate content & social media initiatives from competitor brands
