Executes customs entries and performs customs security filings in adherence to internal procedures and latest local customs regulations

Job Description

Position Based in Mombasa 

Accountabilities:

  1. Conducts classification of goods based on information provided by the customers
  2. Ensures completeness and correctness of paperwork
  3. Works on post clearance modifications
  4. Performs archiving of customs documents based on legal requirements
  5. Updates Customs shipment information and physical status
  6. Resolves customer issues, handles and solves incidents (e.g. escalations, disputes)
  7. Interacts with Customer Service, Product, and customer if required.
  8. Must have a solid understanding of customs systems specifically ICMS.
  9. Must understand Import/Export documentation

 

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in the same role.
  • Diploma level in a related course.
  • Available immediately.
