Job Description

Our client is an IT and Digital Marketing firm dealing in custom software, websites design, secure hosting and integrated Mpesa payments. The client is looking for a Digital Marketing professional with a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. 

  1. Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  2. Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  3. Overseeing the social media strategy for the company
  4. Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing
  5. Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data
  6. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  7. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  8. Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  9. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  10. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  11. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  12. Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  13. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  14. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in management of Google ads, Facebook ads, retargeting strategies and online marketing tools
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
