Job Summary

Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity (Email, Mobile app, Whatsapp and SMS) material to maximise brand promotion. Creating marketing campaigns and working with the rest of the marketing team to see them executed.

Marketing Channels: Email, Mobile Apps, WhatsApp and SMS

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizational:

  1. Communicate with colleagues and share insights on Slack
  2. Utilise Trello to update task status
  3. Weekly coordination and training with team members 

Reporting:

  1. Update the Channel Master as required
  2. Analyse KPIs performance and gather insights to improve the channel
  3. Monthly completion of channel actuals vs targets in forecasts 

Functional:

  1. Write, have approved, execute and conclude channel improvement briefs on time
  2. Continuously conduct content and creative testing to determine long-term effectiveness of test campaigns versus control frameworks
  3. Own the process of creating, growing and maintaining the health of subscriber lists to improve reach and drive engagement
  4. Support new offline and online projects/initiatives by the businesses
  5. Manage channel ad placements and blast campaigns
  6. Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to regularly analyze results, produce and communicate insights, and make relevant course corrects to drive KPIs
  7. Monthly check that automated campaigns (e.g. transactional emails) are triggered as per logic document and actively escalate any issues found
  8. Draw insights on best practices, campaign enhancements, and new industry trends
  9. Coordinate with design and content teams for visual assets and content

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

Required:

  • 1-year experience with basic understanding of digital marketing with an interest in email and mobile marketing (push notifications, SMS, and in-app advertising)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • A fast learner and all-around team player 

Desired:

  • University degree in Marketing, IT, Business or a related field
  • Practical understanding of email and mobile marketing concepts
  • Strong copywriting skills for creating compelling messages
