Successful candidate will be responsible for;
Prepare and maintain an up to date daily recording of transactions and input data into the accounting system.
Balance accounts by reconciling entries.
Work in hand with purchasing to finance sales in preparation of invoices, delivery notes and receipts.
Reconciliation of logistics officers accounts.
Preparation of daily reports.
Managing petty cash transactions.
Complies with regulatory requirements in terms of tax.
Ensure proper book keeping, documentation and filing of the company documents.
Reviewing, verifying, entering and uploading invoices into system.
Carry out periodic bank reconciliation for the organisation’s accounts.
Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
At least a B plain and above in K.C.S.E.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounts/Finance or other business related course with a CPA (K), ACCA, CIFA or equivalent professional qualification.
At least 6 months experience in bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures will be an added advantage.
Competency IT skills particularly in Excel and Access and computerized accounting packages like QuickBooks.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent planning and organizational skill.
High integrity and trustworthy person to handle confidential data.
Ready to work up to Saturday.
