Job Description

We are in an exciting and dynamic fitness business that is still in the start-up mode but growing at a very fast rate. We have a passionate team with a great entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to roll up our sleeves to get the work done. Physiq & Tone leadership has a very lofty vision and expects explosive growth over the coming years. At a minimum, the business expects to have more than 10 locations over the next five years through a combination of corporate and franchise development. The facilities intend to offer diverse fitness products for members satisfaction while offering investors a vehicle to generate above market returns.


Job Overview:

We are looking for a Fitness Innovation Advisor who can lead the business development and customer satisfaction aspects of the business. This person will keep tab on current products always developing ideas on how to improve them. They will also scout for new business ideas in the fitness industry and determine whether the ideas can be converted into viable business products that provide an unparalleled members experience and investors returns.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the rationalization of ideas presented, building business cases, and driving the business forward.
  • Identify customer and investors needs through extensive market research and communicate with the facilities managers and the Board
  • Lead the team throughout the product development process to ensure product functionality meets the needs of target customers and investors.
  • Continuously perform competitor surveillance for product intelligence and communicate findings to team members and other relevant internal departments.
  • Partner with the Personal Training teams to guarantee a fully staffed team of productive trainers who are meeting and exceeding their targets.
  • Drive member count and ancillary business revenue to ensure the facilities are meeting and exceeding their targets.


Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business, Fitness, Sports or related field
  • Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional setting.
  • Minimum two (2) years management experience in a customer service business (Preferably Retail or Fitness)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess honesty and personal integrity.
  • Be enthusiastic, energetic and personable.
  • Passionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the service and fitness industry.
  • Computer literate.
  • Hardworking and diligent.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and follow-up skills.
