Job Summary

We are currently looking for a graduate data entry clerk to work on contractual basis. This is a short term - about 5 months position, but has the potential to become a full time position for the right candidate.

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 1 year

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities;
  1. Entering customer and product information from various sources within given time limits
  2. Verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  3. Reviewing data for errors and correcting any incompatibilities
  4. Obtaining further information for incomplete entries
  5. Apply data program techniques and procedures
  6. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
  7. Scan documents and print files, when needed
  8. Keep information confidential
  9. Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
  10. Comply with data integrity and security policies


Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelors degree 
  • One year post graduation experience within the Insurance Sector
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel)
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance /Diploma in Insurance
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
