The Position

Our client is seeking a hands-on Head of People Operations who will develop, implement, and align People Operations programs with business objectives, serving as a strategic partner of the senior management team while supporting employees’ day to day welfare needs. The Director will be focused on securing and strengthening the company’s foundation for current and future growth.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Partner with the Executive team to implement and support company policies, practices and programs
  2. Lead your direct report managers in creating an inviting and cohesive employee experience
  3. Develop and manage annual budgets for all departments
  4. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure regulatory compliance
  5. Develop and execute the company’s HR strategy
  6. Develop and lead people capacity building initiatives to enhance performance in the organization
  7. Manage succession planning in the organization to ensure business continuity for critical positions
  8. Create and manage company recruitment practices
  9. Passion for our client’s mission

 

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of building and developing a People Ops/HR organization
  • A strategic mind that is focused on execution
  • Extensive leadership experience and proven track record to develop managers
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Exceptional understanding of People Operations Processes
  • Willingness and ability to get into the weeds and solve the problems at hand if needed
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be a certified and registered Human Resource practitioner (IHRM and CHRP)
