Job Description

Egerton Investment Company is an equal opportunity employer involved in Hospitality and Agribusiness. The company manages a 2 Star 90 rooms Hotel with conference facilities, Lord Egerton Caste and Resort with grounds for Team building, Weddings and Excursions. The Company also manages a mixed farm that spans over 2700 acres. The company is looking for self motivated and experienced personnel to fill the following positions. This will be a 3 years’ contract renewable based on performance. The persons will however be subject to a three months’ probation period before being confirmed

3. Horticultural Supervisor/Expert

Essential Duties The essential duties are to innovatively plan and take care of horticultural section, particularly ensuring efficient and optimal production levels throughout the year. Additional duties involve supervising task staff in the section, maintaining records such as inventory; rolling out horticultural activities, soil health including fertilizer application, pests and diseases management, water management including irrigation systems and diversification in Horticulture section.


A degree in Horticulture from a recognised University, with a minimum of 2 years proven successful experience in managing a medium to large scale horticulture enterprise with greenhouse and outdoor horticultural activities.
