The Hotel Manager is to take over
the overall management of the hotel.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent
communication, leadership and organizational skills.
SALARY RANGE: Ksh 40,000-Ksh 50,000
Overall Purpose of the position
The Manager will be directly involved with the rebranding of
the hotel .To manage the hotel in line with the strategic plans of the
shareholders to provide excellent service to our clients and grow the revenue
in line with the Business Plan for 2018/19.
Duties and Responsibilities.
Supporting the development and implementation
of the shareholders new strategic plan.
Planning work schedules for individuals and
Manage the staffing of the hotel by ensuring
we have the right staff at all times to support our operations
Be responsible for managing behavioral issues
that may arise in the course of our operations
Ensuring effective management of accommodation
and housekeeping; kitchen, restaurant, bar and in-house catering services;
outside catering services; and other hotel services.
Managing the budget and financial plans,
controlling expenditure, and effective accountability to the Board for
Ensuring compliance with legal and statutory
requirements including licensing, health and safety and other statutory regulations related with the Hotel
as well as internal policies and regulations.
Maintain high cleanliness standards at all
times in the premises, restaurants, and the hotel rooms
Ensure we have sufficient stocks for all our
operations by establishing lead times for stocking
Ensure excellent management of guest relations
is maintained and address any adverse issues from the guests that may arise
Create a pool of suitable candidates for
future employment in the data base to meet the employment demands of the
Generate daily operations report for the
management and monthly report using a defined template
Any other work that will be assigned by the
Chief Operations Manager from time to time.
The person should be a
holder of a Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Hotel Management,
Institutional Management, Hospitality Services or a related field (a Bachelor’s
degree in the same disciplines would be an added advantage).
He/she must have strong
leadership skills with ability to build strong and highly motivated teams.

strong interpersonal and multi-cultural skills blended with excellent customer
