Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries and concerns
  • Provide advice and information to management and employees on human resource policies and procedures, including equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination and occupational health and safety programme.
  • Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management
  • Maintaining the personal records of employees on matters such as wages, superannuation, leave and training, and prepare associated management reports
  • Ensure the relevant HR-database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
  • Be involved in staff recruitment, training and development, preparation of job descriptions, staff assessments and promotions
  • Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions
  • General upkeep of premises, office furniture procurement and maintenance
  • Prepare annual estimates of expenditure, maintain budgetary and inventory controls and make recommendations to management
  • Maintain management information systems (manual or computerized)

Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in HR
  • Aged 25 - 30 years
  • 2 years experience in HR & Admin roles a MUST
  • Team player
  • Self driven
  • An organized approach and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player
  • Computer literate
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in FMCG is an added advantage.
