Job Description

We are looking for you to fill these key roles:

PURCHASING INTERN

❖     Maintain records of goods ordered and received.

❖     Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

❖     Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies.

❖     Represent the company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers

❖     Resolve vendor grievances and claims against suppliers.

❖     Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.

❖     Manage on-line purchasing systems.


CUSTOMER SERVICE INTERN

❖      Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

❖      Responding promptly to customer inquiries.

❖      Communicating with customers through various channels.

❖      Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.

❖      Vast product knowledge.

❖      Ensure efficiency of the customer service process.

❖      Ensure customer satisfaction through the provision of professional customer support.


PRODUCTS INTERN

❖     Analyze trends and develop business strategies to that regard.

❖     Establish pricing strategies and guidelines for new product development.

❖     Obtain customer feedback and suggest appropriate product revisions.

❖     Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities.

❖     Assist in building new product portfolio and introduction into the market.

❖     Work with business team to identify new customers and to retain existing customers.

❖     Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, business flow, sales process and market dynamics.

❖     Maintain complete documentation for all product related activities.

 

FINANCE INTERN

v  Managing records and receipts

v  Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions.

v  Providing customer service to clients

v  Resolve financial disputes raised by the customer service and sales teams.

v  Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters.

v  Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required.


MARKETING INTERN

v  Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.

v  Managing all marketing campaigns for the company.

v  Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.

v  Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.

v  Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.

v  Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.

v  Design and assisting with new product launches.

v  Handling social media, public relation efforts, and content marketing.

 

TECHNICAL SALES INTERN

v  Training and/or experience in Information and Communication Technology, Electrical or Power products.

v  Proficiency in oral and written communication.

v  Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities.

v  Analyze trends and develop business strategies to that regard.

v  Assist in building new product portfolio and introduction into the market.

v  Establish pricing strategies and guidelines for new product development.

v  Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, business flow, sales process and market dynamics.

 

REQUIREMENTS

❖     Attained a C+ or higher in your KCSE.

❖     A verifiable academic certificate of training in relevant field.

❖     Partake in a month-long intensive training program (Monday - Saturday)Only successful candidates will be retained.

❖     Proficient in internet research, word processing and spreadsheets.

❖     Excellent communication and presentation skills.
