Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  2. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  3. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  4. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  5. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  6. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  7. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  8. Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  9. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  10. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  11. Continuously improve through feedback Maintain open and effective lines of communication throughout the organization to maintain a sense of teamwork, enthusiasm, pride, and quality workmanship.
  12. Capture and review any competitive intelligence gathered and proactively communicates this information to marketing.
  13. Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • National Diploma or higher in either Information technology, Computer science, Engineering or Sales & Marketing with strong bias in IT / Telecom.
  • Industry certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA are very desirable
  • Knowledge of Computer products, switching and routing products
  • Minimum 1 year proven industry experience
  • Knowledge of Inflow inventory management system is an added advantage but not a prerequisite
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
