Preparation and maintenance of relevant design drawings that communicate design intent.
Assist the Principal and Design Team with various design and administrative tasks on projects.
Complete site surveys, field verification, test fit plans and research for the project team.
Maintain constant communication with Principal, design team, vendors and clients regarding project timelines and orders to assure on time completion.
Participate in project meetings and interfaces with clients and consultants.
Gather detailed information and quotes for preparation of accurate design proposals.
Qualifications for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related design field is a plus but strong related experience will be considered in lieu.
Strong knowledge of the design process and other design disciplines.
Demonstrated proficiency with CAD Software, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suites required.
Ability to work well in a team environment and direct others daily tasks in a manner that builds productive relationships.
Posses a project manager mindset with the ability to see things to the finish line, including prioritizing tasks, logistics, and deliverables with a meticulous level of attention to detail
Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly, both verbally and graphically.
Willing to commit to learning about the field of architecture and design and incorporating the knowledge into day-to-day business practices.
