Job Description

Key responsibilities

  1. To implement the membership development plan, manage resources and set workflow priorities
  2. To report regular progress reports on activity against targets e.g. growth projections, campaign effectiveness, response times scales for membership inquiries, etc.
  3. To contribute to the membership development plan and review with the CEO all activity including: Member recruitment and retention campaigns
  4. To provide administrative and programme support to the Chapters of the Association, including managing events, publications and other related activities
  5. To interpret membership recruitment and retention statistics and review member
  6. The sale and delivery of association services to stakeholders
  7. Maintain accurate membership records and marketing databases
  8. To manage member communications including responding to member queries and the
  9. production and inventory of membership and marketing material e.g. letters, newsletters,
  10. To manage affiliate activity and relationships with external partners
  11. Manage regular member communications through utilization of a variety of technologies.
  12. Any other duties as may be assigned

 

Requirements for the position 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a registered university
  • Must have at least one years’ relevant experience
  • Membership to a professional association will be an added advantage

 

Required Skills and Personal Attributes

  • A good knowledge of marketing, management, administration, planning, market research and member relationship management skills and techniques
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other stakeholders
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
