A bit about the role:

The Procurement & Logistics Associate supports the Lynk Operations function to be efficient and effective. S/he supports day-to-day procurements, sourcing suppliers and soliciting quotes. S/he also manages day-to-day movements of the Lynk vehicle, and inventory management.

You’ll be responsible for:

Procurement Support

  • Processing of purchase requisitions; receiving PRs, reviewing PRs for completeness and PR processing.

  • Process documentation for procurement; raise RFQs Compare quotation responses and negotiate with suppliers.

  • Prepare and issue out purchase orders

  • Keep track of open orders for supplier follow ups.

  • Expedite on delayed orders and follow up on scheduled deliveries.

  • Verification of invoices against purchase orders for accurate billing

  • Manage relationships with suppliers; report on performance of suppliers

  • Communication with other teams to update on the status of their Purchase Requisitions.

  • Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted as per Lynk policies and procedures.

Inventory management

  • Maintain and monitor the use of office equipment such as office printer.

  • Update inventory records for received purchases

Logistics support

  • Receive and process vehicle requests

  • Coordinate vehicle movement

  • Oversee vehicle logs and maintenance tasks

Perform any other assigned duties.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management or any other related business course

  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing and inventory management( previous work in a construction environment would be an added advantage)

  • Proficiency with MS Office and other 

  • Demonstrated capacity to multitask, pay attention to detail, prioritize, and work under pressure

  • Excellent organization and communication skills

  • Demonstrated integrity
