Job Description

Project Supervisor Job Responsibilities 

  1. Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in our market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products. 
  2. Make telephone calls and in-person visits and conducts presentations to existing and prospective customers especially engineers, architects, safety managers and 
  3. Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential. 
  4. Develop clear and effective written proposals/ quotations for current and prospective customers. 
  5. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects 
  6. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget 
  7. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility 
  8. Ensure resource availability and allocation 
  9. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress 
  10. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs 
  11. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques 
  12. Report and escalate to management as needed 
  13. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders 
  14. Perform risk management to minimize project risks 
  15. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors 
  16. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation 

Requirements for the Project Supervisor Job 

  • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of Sales and Marketing or engineering for technical project management 
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the engineering field 
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience project sales to execution 
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills 
  • Strong working knowledge of computer applications 
  • A clean driving license. 
  • Ability to handle the technical and commercial aspect of tenders. 
  • Proactive and assertive with good analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving, ability to determine solutions for customers (Consultative sales approach). 
  • Must be result oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
