REPORTING TO: General Manager

DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Property Management

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.

Principle Accountabilities / Responsibility

  1. Providing support to the General Manager in a range of functions associated with leasing and maintaining the properties in accordance with the landlord’s instructions.
  2. Ensuring that any administrative functions as directed by the landlord are completed promptly and in an efficient manner.
  3. Conducting Inspection of the properties to ensure they are in good condition.
  4. Preparing periodic property condition reports and advising the management accordingly.
  5. Responsible for arranging maintenance and repairs to properties; which are to be carried out expeditiously, economically and to an acceptable standard. 
  6. Acting as a liaison between the company and the various clients (landlords) and regarding the general running of their properties.
  7. Timely collection from tenants of all Balance b/f, Gross Rents, Service charge, Parking fees

  9. Timely sending of commercial statements to clients by 12th of the month and residential statements by 15th of the month.
  10. Attaining of Monthly Management fees as per the budget                                                                                
  11. Ability to handle tenants and other property management related complaints and disputes within a reasonable time.                                                                               
  12. In obtaining suitable tenants, ensuring lawful requirements, as well as organization procedures, are followed at all times.
  13. Advising/updating the management on property management issues that may arise from time to time.

 

 

KEY DELIVERABLES.

  1. Prompt response to customer queries/needs.
  2. Timely/accurate property management reports.
  3. Timely billing and rent collection.
  4. Control of property management related costs.

 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Diploma in Building/Estate/Facilities Management. Specialist in MALLS setup management. 

Professional Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate or property management.
  • Registered Valuer
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent in customer care.
  • Strong written, verbal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and high accuracy.
