Influx is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Kenya to join our rapidly expanding sales team. We're a fast-growth, startup looking for an entrepreneurial, highly-motivated individual looking to take that next step in their sales career!
We’re on the hunt for someone who isn’t afraid of prospecting, striking up a conversation with someone they’ve just met and understanding what it takes to build relationships. We want someone who is comfortable communicating across all mediums - phone and email are the most important.
What you’ll be doing:
Setting up sales calls
Outreach to prospects via phone and email
Telephone follow-ups to ‘quote requests’ which come through the Influx website
Responding to leads who reply to our outbound prospecting emails
Responding to leads via live chat at Influx.com
Scheduling sales calls with leads
A minimum of 12-months worth of sales experience (ideally experience selling software or services)
Comfortable and confident interacting with a wide-range of stakeholders, including senior-level management and founders
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
High emotional intelligence to employ the most effective sales strategies/tactics
Experience working with Salesforce would be ideal (but not essential)
