Job Summary

We are seeking for a Sales Representative who will actively look out and engage prospective clients. As a sales representative you will provide and appropriate solutions for every customer (B2B and B2C) in order to increase the company’s revenue and profitability.

Job Description

The SR must be a natural when it comes to customer engagement. We expect you to be innovative in the way you reach out to potential and current clients. 

As the sales representative your selling skills should be top notch, you will need to be able to speak in a friendly way to current and potential or prospective customers, listening to their needs and helping to communicate options to them.
  1. Selling Baobab Circle products and services to prospective clients.
  2. Maintaining business relationships between our company and its partners.
  3. Reach out to customers through cold calling, emailing or visits.
  4. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  5. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  6. Perform market analysis
  7. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
What we’re looking for:
  • Undergraduate degree in a commercial field with a bias towards sales and marketing
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Proven proficiency in written English and Kiswahili
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Very strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt rapidly to change
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Highly collaborative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a sales related position
  • sales experience will be a distinct advantage
  • Experience operating in emerging markets
LOCATION: Nairobi, Kenya with expectations for minimal travel within the region
SALARY: Competitive
DURATION: Long term contract
