Our client is an IT and Digital Marketing firm dealing in custom software, websites design, secure hosting and integrated Mpesa payments. The client is looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  1. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
  2. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  3. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  4. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  5. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  6. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  7. Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  8. Keep up to date with best practices and promotional trends
  9. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  10. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative in the IT services field
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with CRM tools such as Hubspot
  • Proficient in using social media channels such as LinkedIn for lead generation
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
