An FMCG company selling premium juice is looking to recruit spirited, driven team of Sales representatives

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 3 years

Job Description

We are looking to fill sales positions in the following regions;

  • Nairobi
  • Mombasa
  • North Rift
  • South Rift
  • Western
  • Nyanza
  • Mountains
  • Eastern

 

Responsibilities;                                                                                                                                                                 

  1. Generating leads, services existing accounts, obtains orders, establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily schedule
  2. Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
  3. Submit orders by referring to pricelists and productive literature
  4. Monitors competition by gathering current market place info on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedule
  5. Resolving customer complaints by investigating problem, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
  6. Obtaining deposits and balances of payment from clients
  7. Understanding and promoting company programs
  8. Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
  9. Giving sales presentations to arrange for prospective clients
  10. Helping determine pricing, discounts, promotions and negotiations
  11. Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients
  12. Maintaining client records, advising clients on credit terms, products, prices and availability
  13. Keeping management informed by preparing daily, weekly and monthly sales reports


Qualifications and requirements

  • Diploma/ degree in any business/sales and marketing with a bias in sales or related area
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in FMCG preferably in both MT and general trade
  • Passionate about sales with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Sales motivation and strategic prospecting skills
  • Demonstrate proactive approach and decision making capability
  • Demonstrate ability to achieve high performance goals, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in new listings in tier1 HQs, tier2s and traditional market
  • Ability to make and maintain client relationships
  • Ambitious with good presentation skills
  • Skilled in prospecting
  • Thorough knowledge of the applied for region and its environs
  • Must have a working android smart phone
