Job Description

Summary

  1. Responsible for Performing a VAT Auto Assessment Tax support work
  2. Assisting in generating Payment Registration Numbers (PRNs) for all assets that are declared to KRA, e.g., owned cars, motor cycles, vans, Land rent
  3. Record Management - Properly file all acknowledgement receipts, payment request forms, generated payment request numbers, and payment e -slips.
  4. Provide timely and accurate filling for all VAA amendments details for the amendments to be done on I-tax Portal.
  5. Maintain accurate and auditable documentation for all VAA amendments done. 
  6. File on the shared drive, in Soft copy, all the Withholding Tax certificates received on I-tax portal. 
  7. Provide Audit Support by providing all requested Tax Hard copy documents, and tracing missing ones in time within the Audit.


Qualifications:

  • CPA II
  • Diploma in Accounting

Experience:

  • Well versed in Kenya tax environment
  • Can manoeuver through I-Tax
