Territory: East Africa

Product: Location Intelligence, Infrastructure Management software


Our client is the leader in managing networks and assets in the utilities sector (including telecommunications, electricity and water), locating retail stores using predictive analytics, as well as finding the most efficient routes for supply chain. 


Responsibilities

  1. Identifying and establishing new business
  2. Organizing sales visits
  3. Liaising with existing clients
  4. Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations
  5. Providing pre-sales and post-sales support
  6. Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
  7. Reviewing cost and sales performance
  8. Writing reports and sales literature
  9. Providing product education and advice
  10. Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  11. Ensuring that sales targets are met.


Qualifications

  • A Kenya national with a commercial or technical qualification
  • Prospects include experience in Financial Services, Telecom, Retail, Public Sector.
  • Sales cycle 3 to 6 months or longer


Preferred background

  • Telecommunications experience
  • Solution sales
  • Long term customer engagement/account management
