Job Description

Key roles and Responsibilities

  1. Telesales- reaching potential clients through effective telephone marketing, close business and do follow ups
  2. Email marketing and social media marketing to potential clients
  3. Develop creative pitches and propositions and follow up with existing clients
  4. Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with clients who are not already on the database
  5. Achieve monthly set targets
  6. Network for leads and participate in field marketing
  7. Deliver scripted sales pitch to the potential clients
  8. Handle clients’ inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  9. Record clients’ details including reaction to the product or service offered i.e., post disbursement feedback
  10. Obtain contact details of potential clients from varied sources 
  11. Conduct clients and marketing surveys for purposes of gauging clients’ opinions
  12. Answer telephone calls from potential clients and following up to ensure sales conversions
  13. Deliver prepared sales talks, reading from scripts that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to purchase loan products
  14. Perform any other related function as assigned to by the management from time to time


Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • Post-secondary qualification in the sales and marketing or related field
  • Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
  • Marketing and networking skills
