An FMCG company selling premium juice is looking to recruit spirited, driven team of Van Sales representatives

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description

We are looking to fill sales positions in the following regions;

  • Nairobi
  • Mombasa
  • North Rift
  • South Rift
  • Western
  • Nyanza
  • Mountains
  • Eastern


Responsibilities

  1. Listing product to allocated territory
  2. Keeping in contact with existing customers in person and by phone
  3. Making appointment with& meeting new customers
  4. Deliver volume, coverage and sales fundamental targets
  5. Maintaining high standards of service by maintaining the required supply of stock to ensure a 100%sevice level with no stock outs
  6. Identify untapped areas and open accounts.
  7. Increase sales and distribution of new and existing product portfolios within allocated market
  8. Meeting sales targets
  9. Promoting new products and any special deals i.e. price downs, offers etc.
  10. Advising customers about delivery schedules and after sales service
  11. Giving feedback on sales trends by preparing weekly/ monthly reports
  12. Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and Making recommendations ton management.
  13. Maintaining clients’ records and deliver products on a regular basis determined by delivery schedule and set routes to a specific set of customers within the agreed time
  14.  Monitors competition by gathering current market pricing, products, new products to help determine discount, pricing and promotions


Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Have a diploma/ bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing or any related course with a bias in sales and marketing
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a trade developer/ van sale representative in FMCG
  •  Consistent track record in achieving targets
  • Valid driving license with thorough knowledge of the applied for region and its environs
  • Flexibility to work long hours and flexibility on locations
  • Ability to make and maintain client relationship
  • Ability to achieve high performance goals, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  •  Experience with listing new FMCG products
  • Aggressive and result oriented
  • Must have a working android smart phone
