Job Details

As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a Sales Executive to join our sales team. The successful candidate will manage customer accounts, solicit past and new business to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. He/she will develop and facilitate business from markets within and outside Mombasa, by meeting with potential clients, making presentations and developing contacts.

 Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the holiday homes, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients.
  • Regularly meet and exceed assigned revenue goals.
  • Maintain and keep accurate sales records and reports
  • Travel locally to conduct outside sales calls promote the apartments, review competition, and develop leads.
  • Promptly follows up on all customer needs and inquires.
  • Handle customer details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.
  • Coordinate various departments’ participation in servicing clients.
  • Acquire referrals from current clients.
  • Represent the facility at trade shows and business networking events.
  • Conduct surveys and study the market place and territories in order to capitalize on the facility’s strengths.
  • Develop customer profiles through a database and maintain an effective trace system, in order to best meet client’s needs.
  • Maintains open communication with all coworkers for the best guest experience. 


  • A diploma in sales and marketing/hotel management/tourism management. A bachelor’s degree in these areas is an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a friendly, positive and professional manner.
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Computer literate and online marketing ability
  • Prior Hotel sales experience
