The growing importance of Entrepreneurship, both as a full-fledged academic discipline in itself and as a driver of economic growth and democratisation of the economy cannot be underestimated. The Open University of Mauritius (OU) is offering the above programme with inputs by the Commonwealth of Learning(C.O.L).

(Gross Domestic Product), produce some 120 billion rupees worth of output annually and employ 250,000 men and women. Therefore, it is essential to maintain the long
term sustainability of our country which can be achieved by ensuring the largest number of participation in these types of businesses in the economy.
