Academic Writers (Minimum Experience – 5 to 7 Years)

JOB AVAILABILITY: We work all-year round (no low season).

MODE OF WORK: Working remotely from a location of the successful candidate’s convenience

SHIFTS: Day or night (the employee’s choice) but available on phone 24/7 in case of a revision.

SALARY:  KSH 275-300 per 275-word double-spaced page based on experience, quality, complexity, and urgency of the job, among other factors. Make up to 72k/month

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants MUST possess the following skills:

o   ONLY academic writing experience will COUNT when determining the right candidate or trainee for the job and not any other skill or expertise. Therefore, ONLY apply if you possess the required academic writing experience.

o   Must have 5-7 years or more of academic writing experience in several non-technical subjects/disciplines, which means that you should be conversant with ALL the explicit and implicit theories, concepts, and other finer details relating to each.

o   The applicant must know how to write ALL types of nontechnical papers, including:

1.      Literature reviews

2.      Article reviews (summaries and analyses)

3.      Book reviews

4.      Movie reviews

5.      Simple IRAC Case Briefs

6.      Essays

7.      Annotated bibliographies

8.      Full sentence outlines

9.      Speeches

10.   Business plans and reports

11.   Marketing plans and reports

12.   Qualitative research proposals

13.   Simple quantitative research proposals

14.   Emergency plans

15.   Discussion posts

16.   Course reflection papers

17.   Rhetorical analysis papers

18.   Question & Answer papers

19.   Argumentative essays

20.   Ethical case studies

21.   HR case studies

22.   Leadership and management case studies

23.   Marketing case studies

24.   Interview papers

NOTE: Samples of different paper types may be requested as proof of experience

o   A University Degree from a recognized university.

o   Good command of written English.

o   Should be able to meet STRICT deadlines.

o   Should be able to complete at least 5-8 pgs (double-spaced) of original and quality research work daily (Monday to Saturday; Saturday, Sunday, or any other Sabbath day applicable to the successful candidate will be optional for religious reasons).

o   Should be able to work on papers that are 100% original (0% plagiarism on not just Turnitin but all the other plagiarism detectors).

o   Should be able to submit paper with 0 grammatical errors on Grammarly.

o   Knowledge of ALL major citation/referencing styles, including MLA, APA, Harvard, and Chicago, is a MUST. Knowledge of other referencing styles will be an added advantage.

NOTE:

·        Only candidates with the relevant academic research experience of 5-7 years or who can complete ALL the 24 types of nontechnical papers will be considered.

·        Internet access and availability on phone are obligatory as you will be working remotely from another location.
