The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation was established through a Legal Gazette Notice No. of as a State Corporation with the aim of promoting forest conservation by providing buffer zones of tea and assorted tree species to check against human encroachment into the forestland.
Job Specification
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
Preparing and verifying vouchers in accordance with the laid down rules and regulations; Entering accounting primary data; Carrying out routine accounting work such as balancing of cashbooks, imprests and advances ledgers; Bank reconciliation; and Preparing and dispatching customer statements and ensuring safe custody of records and assets. Compiling the creditors list; Taking initial action on credit monitoring; and Preparing reports and briefs on credit control policy issues.Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: – Bachelor degree in any of the following disciplines: – Commerce (Accounting option), Business Administration (Accounting option), Business Management (Accounting option) or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; Certified Public Accountant II (CPA II) by Kenya Accountants and Secretaries Examination Board (KASNEB) or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and Proficiency in computer application skills from a recognized institution.Important Safety Tips
