Role Summary

Strong Start’s Accounts Analyst will support administrative functions of the head office. This role is an opportunity for a strong business professional with a passion to support women and children to be part of a larger workforce development and early childhood care solution.

 

The Accounts Analyst must have a keen attention to detail and a passion for numbers. This role requires accuracy, precision, and a high degree of integrity.


Responsibilities

  • Track and reconcile sales revenue and prepare detailed financial reports
  • Answer and track all client account inquiries, respond effectively to clients, redirect calls as appropriate, take adequate messages, problem solve new challenges effectively
  • Utilize and manage customer accounts through an account management system
  • Coordinate across various departments to ensure incoming and enrolled participants learning needs are positively served and relevant data is properly captured
  • Work across the company with various teams to continually improve the customer experience administratively and programmatically
  • Provide research-based solutions that build efficient organizational systems
  • Develop analytical tools
  • Provide assistance with development programs, including budgeting, monitoring and evaluation of programs, and report writing
  • Develop and monitor budgets and conduct financial reports as required
  • Report on budgets to management, donors and investors
  • Receive deliveries, take inventory of office and programmatic supplies
  • Order 

    supplies and coordinate payments to vendors
  • Handle 

    secretarial compliances such as minutes preparation, filing, and preparing forms, registers and certificate

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, finance, or relevant field
  • A minimum of 2-3 years accounts experience
  • Highest degree of integrity
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and speaks with confidence
  • High level of proficiency with computer programmes (MS Office etc.) and online tools (social media, CRMs, email systems, design)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment 
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach. Someone with solutions-based thinking
  • Goal-oriented, hitting monthly and quarterly goals with the energy and stamina to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Passionate about women’s advancement and children’s education in Kenya
