Job Description/Requirements

Roles and responsibilities
• Ability to work independently but also as part of a small team
• Manage fee collection
• Preparation of financial statements on time and accurately.
• Management of creditors and debtors in accordance with the recommended credit policies.
• Purchasing of office materials and controlling of material usage.
• Payroll preparation, ledger posting and timely remittance of respective statutory deductions
• General ledger posting and reconciliations
• Bank and accounts reconciliations in accounting systems and excel.
• Petty cash management and stock taking
• Preparation of Payroll journals on excels from payroll summary and posting journals in accounts.
• Reconciliation of PAYE, NHIF, NSSF and Net wages control account for each month.
• Reconciliation of VAT liability account and completing VAT return for each month.
• Filing of Withholding tax and compiling list of withholding tax paid for end of year return.
• Manage fee collection
Qualifications
• KCSE Grade C and above
• Diploma in accounting
• CPA II
• At least 1 year experience in a busy accounting environment.
