Accounts Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized, motivated person to manage our financial and administrative function. Reports to the Director. Tally experience will be the most important advantage. Thorough knowledge of Accounting and accounting systems.

  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
  • Experience Level: Senior level
  • Experience Length: 10 years

Job Description/Requirements

  1. Establish & maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure all legal compliance.
  2. Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial and management accounts.
  3. Analyze and develop management accounting system.
  4. Responsible for all financial statutory compliance, and that such laws and requirements are respected and consistently followed.
  5. Manage local and international(overseas) purchases accounts.
  6. Manage debtors and collection from debtors.
  7. Monitor cash flow and expenditure against budget and resources available.
  8. Occasionally, dealing with banks and other financial institutions.
  9. Oversee information technology in accounts function.
  10. Participate in management and organization development, development of operational manual.
  11. Ensure monthly stock takes, prepare stock reports and analyze stock consumption.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • CPA (K) or equivalent (Fully or Partly qualified) OR
  • University Degree in Accounting / Finance

  • Minimum: 7 years
  • Maximum 15 years
