Contract : Part Time (3 days per week)
Location : Nairobi, Kenya
Salary : 15,000 per month

Brief

Galu Palms Limited is constructing a boutique guest house on Galu Beach in Ukunda. The Company Directors are looking for a responsible Administrator / Personal Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support to assist in the completion, launch and marketing of the guest house.

The successful candidate will work on a one-to-one basis with the Company Directors on a variety of tasks related to the project and also execute other duties delegated by the Company Directors.

Duties and responsibilities
• Acting as the point of contact between the directors and internal/external clients
• Handling communication on phone, emails and other correspondence
• Scheduling meetings and appointments
• Taking Meeting notes, producing reports, presentations and briefs
• Record Keeping - Devising and maintaining an office filing system
• Sourcing project supplies and dealing with suppliers
• Paying bills as and when required
• Making travel arrangements

Requirements and skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Must speak good English and be an excellent communicator (oral & written)
• Good computer skills - Proficiency in MS Office & Google Drive
• Digital Marketing knowledge, would be an added advantage
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Driven, self-motivated, a fast learner with a desire to grow professionally
• Warm demeanour with a ‘get it done’ approach
• Ability to build and nurture relationships at all levels
• Discretion and confidentiality

Education
• Undergraduate Degree
