Our Client is a leading provider of cost-effective software solutions and services tailored to the specific needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). They are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer to join their team. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

·          Develop and maintain server-side applications using languages like C#, .NET framework, JSON, Java, Python.

·          Design and manage databases (SQL, NoSQL) and optimize queries for efficiency.

·          Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.

·          Ensure application security, data protection, and authentication mechanisms.

·          Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

·          Optimize applications for performance and scalability.

·          Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve system reliability.

·          Stay up to date with emerging back-end technologies and best practices.

·          A Bachelor's degree in relevant areas e.g., Computer Science, ICT, Web Development

·          Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role

·          Proficiency in server-side programming languages (C#, .NET framework, JSON, Java, Python).

·          Experience with micro services architecture.

·          Knowledge of message queues

·          Understanding of DevOps practices.

·          Working knowledge of Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern.

·          Working knowledge of HTML5+, CSS3+ and JavaScript

·          Working knowledge of database management system - Microsoft SQL Server

·          Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

·          Working knowledge of web services and APIs and the ability to create and consume

·          Exposure to handling IIS servers, and Microsoft IIS

·          Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

·          Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

·          Understanding of testing web applications

·          Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
