2. JOB PURPOSE 

This position is responsible for overseeing the branch operations, providing leadership to the sales team and coordinating the sales and marketing activities for the achievement of the sales target of the branch. 

3. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB 

Detailed description of the tasks performed by the job holder

a) Develop and oversee implementation of the branch market plan with clear strategies for the achievement of the set branch targets.

b) Monitor the performance of the sales agents to ensure they bring sales and achieve their individual sales targets. 

c) Ensure all documentation are in order before approval of loans to ensure the branch monthly loan rejection rates is below 10%.

d) Ensure 95% collection rates in conjunction with report from Sales Reps Portfolio Performance from the Sales Analyst.

e) Ensure agents report to work on time, capture all loans into the systems and update the market force daily in line with the company policies and procedures.

f) Prepare detailed report to the regional sales manager with recommendation.

g) Ensure that the branch inventory and marketing materials are available and restocked on time for the smooth running of the branch activities.

h) Oversee office operation and administrative functions such as the necessary documentation to facilitate the operations of the branch are in order and in compliance to the relevant regulations

i) Ensure the branch has optimal staff by assisting and guiding the team leaders to recruit and retain sales agents. 

j) Ensure continuous and thorough training of sales reps and the Team leaders through E-learning and working with the Training Manager.

Minimum level of academic and professional  qualification required to perform effectively in the role

a) Diploma in sales and marketing or any field from a recognized institution.

b) Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a business-related field of study is an added advantage.

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role
