Job Summary

Vitu Za Majuu by Zigofly, a start-up shop and ship service from the USA and UK to Kenya, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Brand Representative to join our growing team.

Job Description/Requirements

This is an entry level position


In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our business. 


Your responsibilities will include:


Sales & Marketing


  1. Assist in developing and implementing engaging social media and online / offline marketing campaigns to reach new customers and promote our services.
  2. Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials.
  3. Assist in onboarding new customers, analyzing marketing data and report on campaign effectiveness and other marketing related activities.


Customer Service


  1. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, phone, and social media.
  2. Provide excellent customer service throughout the shopping and shipping process.
  3. Assist with resolving customer issues and complaints.


Administrative Duties


  1. Maintain accurate and organised filing systems for customer information and orders.
  2. Planning and running errands as needed, such as picking up supplies or collecting or scheduling package deliveries with our delivery personnel.
  3. Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills


  1. Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Sales or Marketing, preferably a recent graduate from 2020 - 2024 onwards.
  2. KCSE minimum grade - C+
  3. 1 year of experience in customer service/marketing or business-related roles, will be an added advantage.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
  5. Strong organisational and time management skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems like Google WorkSpace.
  7. Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Detail-oriented and highly organised with a commitment to accuracy.
  10. Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  11. Knowledge of the e-commerce and shipping industry.
  12. Knowledge and practical skills on how to shop online and payment modes.
  13. Working knowledge of international online shopping sites like eBay, Amazon, and AliExpress.


Other Requirements


  1. Must have a National ID
  2. Must have a KRA Pin
  3. Must have an NHIF / NSSF Pin
  4. Must have a Valid Police Clearance Certificate
  5. A Driver’s License will be an added advantage
