Our client is an established company in food manufacturing that has been in existence for over 30 years.

 

Role Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Director in identifying opportunities to grow the business, as well as analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations. The role requires someone with wide exposure in

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability. 

·        Play a key role in developing Business Proposals for business expansion

·        Work hand in hand with the Commercial Manager in executing and in executing the successful business proposals

·        Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns and provide insights to guide business decisions. 

·        Prepare financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, and present findings to the Commercial Director and other senior executives. 

·        Work with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and business cases for new initiatives and investments. 

·        Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats. 

·        Assist with the preparation of board presentations and other ad hoc projects as needed. 

 

Qualifications & Experience

·        Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 

·        A minimum of 4 years’ work experience as a Business Analyst preferably with experience working in an investment firm

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 

·        Knowledge of financial modelling and forecasting techniques. 

·        Experience working in the agriculture industry is a plus.
