Job Description/Requirements
JOB PROFILE
Business Development Executive shall be responsible for driving business growth within the company. He/ She will develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income. Provide necessary weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual
reports to the management for decision making. Must have relevant background in dealing with Electronics at a supervisory role and well vast with other competitors in the line industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with the BDM on development plans and forecasting on sales targets and growth projections in the region.
- Identify new market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels.
- Marshal and supervise Trade Developers/ Retail spots in the region
- Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships
- Developing sales and marketing strategies for the team Managing the sales representatives in all the regions
- Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences
- Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
- Work with the BDM to develop and implement business and development strategy for a defined territory/JBP.
- Update and maintain customer information databases on regular basis.
- Mentor the Trade Developers and sales team members on succession planning
- Developing growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
- Research from organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
- Developing goals for the Trade developers team and ensuring that the set business goals are met.
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Proven working experience as a business development executive, sales executive or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Proficiency in English and data analytic
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management
