BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Career Options Africa Group, is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Burundi. 

In-order to enhance our market penetration and diversify our product offering, the Group seeks to fill the above position with a suitably qualified and competent business development professional with experience working in a well-established HR/Management consultancy firm.


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
  • Prepare tenders and proposals for consultancy assignments in response to tenders or requests for proposals.
  • Understand client needs and be able to tailor solutions to address them.
  • Identify, target, and build new relationships with existing and potential clients for high client retention.
  • Develop a credible pipeline of prospective clients and growth strategies for sustainable business growth.
  • Analyze market trends to forecast demand, plan and take advantage of potential opportunities.
  • Carry out aggressive social media marketing activities to increase visibility and brand awareness
  • Develop and implement branding and marketing materials.


QUALIFICATIONS

The job holder should have the following qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a well-established HR/Management consultancy firm.
  • Professional affiliation to a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
  • Experience in SEO solutions an added advantage

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies;

  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Ability to recognize opportunities and formulate business deals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point).
  • Great people skills, excellent business acumen, a self-driven and have an outstanding work ethics
  • A very high level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail and organization are essential for the role.
  • Great communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively under pressure
